Wow guys! The last entry was 9 December? And that was a new member signing in. Has everyones resolve gone bye bye? With the healthcare bill looming over our heads, we need to keep making our voices heard. We need forums like this to keep the fires stoked within us! Don't give in to the powers that be! We are still a government for the people and BY the people! Stay in the fight!!

We are here, but its been tough to gather and rally the troops. Sometime the beginning of the year we'll be doing a some new site changes and marketing. We need to prepare for this very important "take back our country" election year.
We could use some volunteers to help with the rally!

Well maybe we would have more avid followers if we did more than just have peaceful protests, Sometimes you have to cause a little civil disobedience. Not hurt people or property but just amp it up. Swarm them in washington, make them fear. harass them right outside congress and senate. Just remember if you have anything negative to say about what i'm saying you might want to think before you speak. You know deep inside you really want to do the same thing. The liberal media has tried to make us feel like were walking on glass and to be careful because if we have a screw up our movement is done. WELL I DON'T THINK SO. These dirty politicians would be hanging from trees 200 years ago. AMP IT UP. We have to if we are to ensure this movements survival. Were so fed up and the movement isn't make enough noise, lets frighten congress and the senate.

I'm still here. It is hard for people like us to devote time to any one thing. I know here we will ratchet up as November 2010 gets closer. Keep the faith.

I must agree, where is the resolve? There are so many important issues, including the health care bill that is still being shoved down our throats by the current administration. Obama, Pelosi and Reid have come to a new agreement that may pass the healthcare reform bill surreptitiously in the next couple of days. There are numerous other issues that need to be dealt with from my perspective and I have seen little if any action on the part of ANY Tea Party groups. I have had many years experience in both healthcare and political campaign management and one of the reasons I am getting involved is because people need to remember why they got involved in the first place and must stay involved or it has all been a waste of time on everyone's part. In my opinion there are simply too many "Tea Party" groups with no coordination or strategy. Am I wrong? I know we all have to take care of our families and attend to our jobs, but this is just as important because inaction and inattentiveness to the problems now may lead too a lifetime of struggle and disappointment if we don't stay the course and deal with the issues that are in front of us. All of these Tea Party groups need organization and communication among them to have any effect whatsoever.

Dr,
One nice thing about all the groups is that it is all grass-roots. There is some convention going on in Nashville where Sarah Palin is speaking, and that is put on by a for-profit company and started by a lawyer in the Nashville area. I might be a little leary of such an entity at this time. It took 100 years since the early progressive era started in the U.S. and they've turned this country upside down incrementally.
I don't think we can organize overnight. We need to take back our institutions one at a time; education, local government, local chambers, etc. and it will all start with the grass-roots.
There will be a time to organize under one larger banner. When that time is, is hard to project.

I don't support her (I like her but she is not a viable candidate). Is she just attaching her name to the movement just because? I don't know. I believe smaller groups with a unified platform can do more good that a national group IMO. Meaning that local groups stick to a set of core values (like smaller government, lower taxes, a sound domestic energy policy, reduced spending, and most important getting back to what the Constitution says and reducing the size of government now) and impacting these changes locally .

Definitely. The local political scene is what needs to change. We can vote in "tea party" type candidates to congress and the senate in our own states. Granted, not every candidate will be exactly as we want, but we must accept that for now. We must grow this movement and not worry about nor fully support those who are trying to nationalize it under a single banner.
